What PhotoDrone’s share is used for
General PhotoDrone operations and overhead like customer acquisition, quoting, dispatch, the quality control, editing, invoicing and collection, payment processing, support when a customer is unhappy, and the losses when a job goes wrong. We think that's a fair split, and you can judge for yourself now that you know what it covers.
When and how you’re paid
The rules behind every payout, including the ones that make it wait.
Fixed before you accept
Your share is 70% of the services subtotal, plus travel past your radius in full. The offer states it in dollars, and that is what you are paid.
Paid 7 days after approval
The clock starts when the customer approves the files. One transfer per job, through our payment provider.
Changes are part of the job
Two rounds of changes are included. The 7 days start at approval, not at your first upload.
When a payout waits
A payout is held while your payout setup is unfinished, the customer's balance is unpaid, or a refund request is open. It goes out once that clears.
After a refund
If the customer is refunded part of the job, your share is worked out again on what they paid after the refund.
Setup comes after approval
You set up payouts during onboarding. You can accept offers while it is being checked.
